What is a Gas Fireplace?
A gas fireplace uses gas as fuel instead of wood or coal. A gas line is run to the location of the fireplace and connects to ceramic logs (or other non-flamable burners). Gas fireplaces have many benefits over wood burning fireplaces, such as: 1) they do not emit as much smoke, 2) no ash cleanup, 3) easy to start, 4) easy to stop, 5) don't have to worry about burning logs rolling into your house.
